DROP was registered as an official Norwegian charitable organisation in October 2007 (organisation number 991 285 857). It consists of student members and three staff members, with one staff member the official Chair, responsible for producing an Annual Report, accounts and the general legal running of the organisation.
Since that time, membership of DROP has been in a state of change, with students coming and going from the college, but it is heartening to announce two important points:
• firstly, several former students of the college are still fund raising on behalf of DROP, especially in the USA;
• and secondly, and even more noteworthy, is that, with the latest 12,000 kroner sent to Ras Selas Diversity School in Addis Ababa, DROP has now broken the 250,000 kroner mark.
